My brain ruptured somewhere along the weeklong trip of utter FEET PAIN.
Met a nice Swiss man in the hostel I was staying at. His european accent was very thick but he spoke english pretty well. He says he was flying off to Hawaii and then California for some fun. He kept me up at night with his rambling :<. All the females seem to have something on them that attracts the monstrous ants and mosquitos. Wendy has accumulated well over 20 insect bites. (It must be karma!) She's been hell the entire time I've been here. I will not be inviting her to anywhere ever ever ever again. Let's see. We went to Kyoto and visited a million temples and castles and saw many many many deer. They were so cute :< I HAVE PICTURES. that I can't post. Anyhow and after Kyoto we went to Osaka/Sannomiya for some shopping. There's a 9 story building here that has nothing but Comme Ca clothing. Holy shit. I wanted to buy everything. but I'm glad I have some sense of self-control, unlike my sisters. But.. my money still is disappearing D:.. After Osaka-- since there was nothing to do and Osaka was mainly just a tourist trap, we went onward to Hiroshima. We stayed at this nice Hotel in a Japanese style room. Sleeping on the floor was fun. ..... ... D: It rained almost all of the time we were there. We visited the A-Bomb Dome and saw the rebuilt castle/posts and lots of deformed trees that survived :[ The eucalyptus tree was all *wiltwiltdeadlookingwithlotsofleaves* and the weeping willow sure knew how to weep. Every single tree that was there were covered with this strange dayglo green moss stuff. The sights were quite depressing. They were many rude american tourists that were just rough-housing about ;[... Hiroshima had an awesome shopping district, though! I spotted this group of jrock boys that were playing under the bridge and I was all "HEY SIS, ROCKER BOYS JUST FOR YOU" and she was like OH REALLY. and we all went down and said hi and took pictures. It turns out they're an actual signed band. We also saw another band in the shopping district, but they were ugly :(... anyhow. Wendy was being "Wot everything so expensive I'm just going to grab bento box and go home bye bye" and we were like.. um ok :| And we all karaoked the night away. It was major fun-- except for the not bringing our umbrellas. Running a mile home in the rain was ... not fun.
Bullet trains rock, btw. Especially when they go 400mph and your ears pop and the rides take up to 4 hours :]...
